We celebrated Leia’s birthday with her friends and family a little early this year since we will be out of town on her real birthday and it falls so close to the SEC championship and Thanksgiving. We had a wide array of party ideas Leia came up with but ended up settling on a costume, magic – puppet show with a princess- pirate theme party. It was great choice! Leia did tell Deedee during the middle that she really did not want all these people at her party however she was the one who said who to invite even though mommy attempted to try to get her to do a smaller party. however afterwards she told us she loved her party and thank you. Love making these sweet memories with our sweet, loving, smart, little princess. Next time mommy and daddy will make sure the camera battery is charged up and mommy will plug her cell in the night before – thank you to our friends who took pictures and sent them to us!
The kids lined up for balloon animals Mr Larry made while waiting for everyone to arrive

The magic show was great! Leia got to be an assistant for a couple parts and Mr Larry kept everyone’s attention – not a easy task for 20 something kids ranging from 1 to 8 years old

Sweet Ivy was a little over whelmed with how many people were in the house. So she hoped in one of mommy’s favorite carriers 🙂

Cake time – always one of the kids favorite times. Mommy thought the cake was going to be bigger and got a little antsy there would not be enough but there was plenty and it was cute

Everyone singing happy birthday to Leia

Daddy had to untangle the pinta before we could pull the strings

Leia was so blessed by everyone’s generosity and loved her presents!

Ivy modeled the jacket Deedee gave her and refused to take it off that night so she slept in it

Leia thanked her guest and gave each one of them a thank you for coming present

Forgot to mention in the post that cousin Adrian got to come over Friday with Grandpa and Deedee. He surprised Leia and Ivy when they picked the girls up from school. They had a great time playing Friday! Grandpa sent one video but I was having trouble getting it uploaded so it is not on the blog. Of course Saturday night Adrian and Leia got to sleep together. It is a joy listening to the two of them chat and carry on with each other until one falls asleep while the other is talking. Sunday morning Leia tried to gentle wake Adrian but when that did not work she started tapping him a little harder until he woke. I suppose she thought since she was awake and he needed to be up too – I don’t know where she gets it from thinking everyone she be up when she is up 😉
