Mimi’s Birthday at Disney on Ice

Mimi’s birthday happened to fall on the weekend that Disney on Ice, Mimi took us all for her ‘party’. We are the ones that got the biggest treat on Mimi’s day. Papa and Mimi have been taking their gran-prinessses since Ivy was a two months old and Leia has been talking about it all year. Stacy and Lisa were able to wake up at Mimi’s and sit by the fire and thank God for giving us our sweet mom and getting us through the past 11 months. Fifty-eight is is one of our least favorite numbers after losing our Uncle Tommy, Uncle Ronnie and our Daddy all at that age so we welcomed Mimi turning 59 with open arms. Today was a day of celebration; we celebrated mim’s life and pray for God to do more than we can ask or even imagine in her life this year! Thankful we got to spend the day with her and praise the Lord for the blessings he has given each of us and he gift our Mimi is to our family.

Everyone enjoyed the show! We all liked Mimi’s party. It was comical how Ivy would whine when Mickey and Minnie left and the princesses came out – her favorite was Mickey 🙂

You can’t celebrate a birthday without cake according to our little princesses 😉

Birthday dinner at Gion Marcos with some of my favorite women and back to Mimi’s to watch AL vs LSU and enjoy birthday cake–we are blessed!
