We have been busy lately despite the fact that we have not posted anything. So here is a little catch-up for end of September, beginning of October.
We love fall! Cooler temperatures means we can get daddy outside with us, the bugs stop feasting on our legs as much, we can jump in leaves, make s’mores at the fire pit, and enjoy hot coco or pumpkin lattes. The girls took their classmates a fun fall treat this year 🙂
These two girls LOVE carousals! They jump at the chance to go ride on them now. I know in Gatlinburg we will be visiting the carrousel on the top of the mountain.

Leia and Ivy got to meet one of Lisa’s oldest friends little girl named Brenlee. It was a great time at Mimi’s filled with lots of fun for the kids, time to reminisce and look forward to what the future holds. Such a sweet time in life getting our little girls together.

Lisa and Mimi thought it would be fun to take the girls to the homecoming parade in Gardendale since we happened to be hanging out in Gardendale that day and the floats when we were in High school were cool. Lisa ran in to grab treats for the kids since they were told they stopped being allowed to throw candy from the floats. However, there were not even floats this year – someone had vandalized them or either they just did not do them. The parade only lasted 5 minutes at most. Huge disappointment but we tried

The girls favorite breakfast spot is Waffle House! They love their eggs and waffle – mommy likes the fact the 3 of us can share a plate so it is economical although they are starting to eat more ;). One morning when we went there was not many people there so the waitress made them Mickey pancakes – huge hit now they are disappointed if they don’t get them.

Last year we went to a BBQ festival for children’s harbor and Leia said she wanted to go back. Since daddy was out of town Mimi came with us and we made a girls night out of it and spent the night with Mimi.

One of Leia’s oldest friends is Miss Annie. They met when Leia was less than a week old. There were four little ones that hung out and bonded that continue getting together almost four years later. This year Annie opted to have her party away from home at the park with a Doc McStuffin theme. Her mommy Crystal always throws great parties and the girls had a blast!

Cornerstone Ranch, a nonprofit for at risk kids, in Gardendale had a festival with tons of jumpies, food activities, and some duck dynasty people. Some of the guys that run it went to high school with aunt Stacy. The girls had a fun time!
Everyone got face (or hand) paintings
The girls love the moo-moo cow, except Ivy who is a little scared of him but she wanted to go see him in mommy’s arms

Silly Mimi tied all the girls balloons to her to hold them 🙂

They had ponies to ride and no surprise Leia did great! Sara and Katie who are terrified of animals each rode one! But Ivy still would not get near the horse and threw a fit when we even asked her about riding.
Mimi ended up with the balloons tied to her
