A week before Halloween Leia’s class was going to the pumpkin patch for a class trip. Lisa and Chris had meetings scheduled so they asked Mimi to go with her but last minute Lisa’s meeting was cancelled so Lisa and Ivy joined Mimi and Leia’s fun day at the pumpkin patch since we had not been able to go to a pumpkin patch this year. We arrived to the pumpkin patch significantly earlier than her class, they were running late. Our girls enjoyed playing in the jumpies, riding the train and ponies, and going ahead to pick their pumpkins (they were expecting over 500 kids that day and we didn’t want to not get a good big one). When Leia’s class arrived we got to hang out with them, ride the ponies and train again then went to the petting zoo but left before they went back to pick their pumpkins for lunch at Top Pat Barbecue – a old favorite and we picked up extra for the weekend. What a great girl day!

Fun on the jumpies – I am glad we did these early since her class did not do it and they were packed later in the day – Leia does not like it with a bunch of other kids in them
So proud of Leia for going up and sliding down the big slide herself. A little boy helped her named Levi since she got scared when she realized how high up he was and Levi’s mommy bribed her with a dollar to get her down but she did it by herself

This is the first time Ivy got on a horse; every other time we tried getting her on one she freaked out. But she loved this one and did not want to get off.
Of course Leia has loved horses for a while

Our girls LOVE the ponies! The guy let them ride for free one time we visited it so many times just to listen to Ivy sing that she was riding a horse while ti trotted around
Ivy was a little hesitate in the petting farm at first
Then she started following sister’s lead and they both petted multiple animals to my surprise
Ivy was a Mimi’s girl!
