Leia knows how to pull at mommy’s heart strings! She told me Tuesday night after learning mommy had to go to work the next morning, “Mommy don’t you want to stay home with me; I want to stay with you. You don’t have to go to work, do you? Can I just go with you and spend the day with you?” Luckily, Mimi had planned on keeping them the next day so I did not have to drop them off at school. It is a rough day when I have to drop her off after she pulls at the heart-strings but when they are with Mimi it makes mommy’s work day better knowing that the girls are having fun and I can call to talk to them.
Thank you Mimi for keeping them! They said it was a fun. We love you bunches!
After mommy got home it was time for some fun with my girls. They keep me smiling!
I wish I had taken a video! Ivy is yelling, “I driving Tahoe” as she’s driving the barbie jeep. Love to see how much she enjoys driving the Barbie Jeep! It is one of our ‘special toys’ since it is one of the last gifts my daddy and momma gave our princess Leia on her birthday; he would like watching Ivy drive too!
Ivy thinks she is as big as her sister and wants anything she has! She does pretty good walking in her sisters shoes too … did I mention they are more than double her size … in fact closer to 3 times her size

However, today was one of the days that Leia didn’t want sissy playing with her shoes. Where did Leia think the best place to put them to make sure they were out of sissy’s reach … her head … not sure why that was the best place but my 3 year old attempted to explain the logic to me 🙂

Leia loves flowers! Hence the flowers in hers and mommy’s hair; Ivy said no thank you when she asked if she could put them in her hair.
In fact Leia likes them so much mommy had a surprise when she got home after she told Mimi they needed to buy mommy flowers when they stopped by a store; the girls picked out beautiful multi-color roses. Un-knowning to Lisa when she ran by the store on the way home she grabbed Mimi red roses.
There is truth in the old saying: the apple does not fall too far from the tree
