We celebrated our first Valentine Day as a family this year. It was different than in the years past for Chris and Lisa. The three of us went to lunch at PF Changs with Mimi and Papa to celebrate on Saturday. Leia was a perfect little angel at the restaurant and liked her Valentine’s presents from Mimi and Papa. Thanks Mimi and Papa for the goodies.

Valentines Day started off as normal with Lisa feeding the Princess but Chris cooked breakfast so we could open presents and go to Mimi and Papa’s before the next feeding. As soon as breakfast was over we shared the Valentine Day goodies we got each other then headed out to Mimi and Papa’s to hang out with Aunt Stacy and cousins Sara and Katie. We had fun spending time with family. Leia played, got her turn in the jumper, and watched the fire in a bumpo before we came home for our “romantic dinner”. Instead of enjoying time together over a nice candle lit meal or going out, we spent Valentines in eating by candle light separate. Leia thought she needed more attention than we could provide while both of us could eat. But we enjoyed spending time with our little Valentine and are looking forward to a lifetime of valentines together.
