Annie’s 3rd Birthday

One of Leia’s first little friends, Annie that we met in lactation class when Leia was just a few days old turned three. It is hard to believe our little girl will be three in just fewer than six weeks. It seems like yesterday these two were lying on their blankets at group reaching out to hold hands as both moms watched in excitement because they were purposefully holding each other’s hands. Annie’s mom, Crystal threw a fabulous party at their pen! She is so creative!! Each child got to ‘adopt’ a puppy, play doctor with it, pick out treats, blankets, collars, and toys for it, and then she turned our little ones into puppies with ears and whiskers before they had free play. Leia and Ivy had a blast. Both of our little ones have been toting their puppy they picked out around the house. Leia picked out a shaggy white one and Ivy got a pink and white poodle. On the way home Leia tried to ‘switch’ with Ivy but Ivy would have nothing of it; she wanted her pink dog. However, they are willing to share at home but when it comes time to go night-night the rightful owner gets the puppy and buts it to bed.
