We had planned a fun-filled girls’ weekend since Chris was golfing, Mark and Stacy were traveling, and Papa had to work. Friday, Leia, Ivy, Sara, Katie and Lisa gathered at Mimi’s house to start our fun weekend. Leia was so excited about the weekend full of girl fun. Friday, we went to our first pumpkin patch of the year. We paused on the way in for some great photo ops before heading to the inflatable area. The girls had a great time sliding down, jumping, and running around. The three older ones were still interested in running around and playing when it was time to eat but we managed to get a little into everyone; Ivy zoned in on eating and there was no stopping her. Next up was a hay ride to the pumpkin patch so the girls could all pick their pumpkins. They were all very decisive and picked the smallest pumpkins they could find which would had been great if we paid by pound or size instead of a flat rate per pumpkin. Mimi and Lisa had to laugh since they want the biggest piece of cake, most ice cream, etc. Ivy ended up with the biggest pumpkin. After rest time, the girls went to Chickfila for a little dinner and fun before Lisa took Leia and Ivy home for the evening.

Sara hit the slides

While little sis and Leia stuck with the jumpy-houses

However, Leia worked up the courage for the big slides towards the end

Leia was so proud of herself, what a big girl we have

Mimi treated us all to lunch

We stopped for a group picture before going to pick our pumpkins

We had to head back before I got pictures of everyone because of an accident

Love the ‘life’ in this picture

After naps and play-time at Mimi’s we went for more fun at Chickfila
The girls LOVE the slide

Climbing and other toys are fun too

Oh we ate too, even got dessert

Saturday, the girls headed out the door as soon as they woke to get back out to Mimi’s house. We dropped by to pick up Sara, Katie and Mimi to start our fun day. First stop, the donut shop. Each girl picked a sprinkle donut. Ivy was not impressed by any of the donuts. The big girls were more interested in playing at the park than eating their treat so they donuts were abandoned with one or two bits missing for climbing, swinging, see-sawing, and more active fun. When the rain came in our fun was ruined. When we got back to Mimi’s sweet Sara started running a fever so Leia, Ivy, and Lisa headed home, against Leia’s wishes, in hopes of avoiding the fever virus since we had planned a week of fun in PTC with Deedee while Daddy and Grandpa plays golf next week. Leia cheered up after rest time when we got to play outside with the neighbor kids.

Looks like the girls had a great girl’s weekend!!!
