Friday Lisa had the girls out running errands all morning before taking them to meet a couple co-workers at lunch. Despite having to wait an hour at one of Lisa’s appointments they were both on their best behavior all morning; so proud of them. Leia was an awesome big sister and helper helping entertain Ivy. After their long morning, mommy requested an eleventh hour change of lunch location so Leia could get her pancake she wanted for lunch at Cracker Barrel (she would eat pancakes for every meal if we would let her these days). Leia told me afterwards that Mr Charlie shared fries and she shared pancake with him; Mr Travis is silly. I work with some great guys!

She did not want to get out but we had to eat before heading to the fun times with cousins Sara and Katie
After lunch we headed to Mimi’s house for naps and some fun girl time. Leia loves playing with her cousins! Ivy enjoys watching their every move and being in the center of it. When we arrived we were surprised to see a truck in the drive way. Mimi had surprised everyone and ordered another bed (or two). The girls liked Mimi and Papa’s new bed since they got to help “break” it in before their naps. Before nap Mimi also set up Leia a new big girl bed at her house. It is funny how there is no fight when it is nap time now since Leia has her big girl bed (makes mommy happy). Leia and Ivy were woken from their naps a little early to head to the splash pad for fun play time. The girls all checked it out for a few minutes before jumping in and enjoying all the different “sprinklers”. Leia absolutly loved it! She even ran around by herself after everyone got tried of it until mommy told her we had to go; I am thinking we will be back a few times before summer is over. For those wondering, Chris was not left out of the fun Friday; he was able to get in a round of golf before his girls got back home.
