We are blessed to have a family across the street when we moved that has a daughter around Leia’s age. We were able to celebrate her 3rd birthday with them this year. It was a great princess fire station party but more importantly the fire safety talk and seeing the firemen in gear in case a unthinkable ever happens was so beneficial for all the kids. The chief went over fire safety with the kids, firemen dressed in their gear, showed the kids how to stop, drop and roll, climbed the ladder and gave fives, let them help spray the hose, and explore the fire station and trucks.
