Chris, Lisa and the girls headed to Peachtree City after everyone got home on Thursday afternoon. We did not arrive until way past the girls bed times but Leia stayed up the whole time so she could see her Grandpa, Deedee, and Gigi. The girls had to wait till Friday morning to see Gigi . Leia tried to learn to crochet before declaring it was hard. Mommy hopes Leia learns to crochet, knit, sew, etc from her talented Gigi and Deedee!

 

Friday afternoon we went to see cousins Adrian and Alicia for a little bit since Leia had been asking about Adrian frequently since she knew we were going to celebrate Adrian’s birthday (which translates into cake to Leia). Deedee’s sisters also were coming in over the weekend. Aunt Teri and Uncle Winnie were suppose tto arrive Friday morning but they did not get in until late Friday due to their plane being cancelled. I love their perseverance and determination to get to their destination. They got new tires and started driving as soon as they could, we enjoyed getting to visit with you both!

Saturday evening, Darrell and Gene cooked for the family in town and the kids got to play a little while. The meal was delicious (as it was the night before) but the company was even better 🙂

Sunday morning Aunt Joy arrived. The boys went golfing and the girls hung around the house part of the morning being entertained by Miss Leia and Ivy before Deedee, Leia, Ivy and Lisa went to the park to feed the ducks and play a little while before nap time and Adrian’s party.

Of course Leia decided she would play a few feet away instead of touching any of the animals

She did ride a horse though (the one animal she seems to like)

They got to sit together for dinner

Then it was cake time

After the party we went back to Deedee and Grandpa’s house
