This weekend Chris’s birthday celebration continued while Lisa’s celebration began. Gene and Darrell came over to celebrate our birthdays; the Requena-Comfort household was unable to make it due to illnesses in the household (we missed y’all but thank you for not sharing the germs). Since Chris’s birthday celebration on his special day was rushed he got to choose where we celebrated and the cake type. He choice to have his party at a Japanese restaurant, Mt Fuji then come back to our house for some yummy ice cream cake. This was the celebration that we needed for Chris’s last year in his thirties. We had a great time celebrating with our family in Birmingham. Now it is time to start thinking about celebrating Chris’s BIG birthday next year 🙂
