Monday nights we normally go to dinner with the Talley’s but they texted they could not go since Max had a baseball game since they were in the playoffs. We had not made it to one of his games last year or this year so we ceased the opportunity. Last year he asked us but with Covid the season ended abruptly so we missed getting to go. This year he had asked us a couple times but we had things planned before they told us a date or time. Today though we had nothing planned so we headed to the field. It was comical listening to all the questions the girls had for Holly on baseball. Neither of our girls had ever really watched a game. It was fun watching and seeing the excitement when they did well, laughing as coaches tried to get them motivated as they picked a child up that laid in the field, and seeing the pride the players had as they heard the cheers from the stands. Glad we all decided to go watch him play. today since it ended up being his last game of the season but boy did all the boys look like they had a good time.
