Friday evening suppose to be a fun night. Bonfire, dinner, and games with neighbors…Chris had taken the girls home early since they had early riding lessons Saturday and texted back that we had a leak in the yard. As he was walking up to the house it was a little muddy. We ended up turning the water off at the road and decided to find a plumber on Saturday but ended the evening on a blah note.
Saturday Chris took the girls to lessons while Lisa tried to find a plumber. The verdict was that there are not many plumbers open on the weekends so we ended up only turning the water on at night for showers the rest of the weekend to avoid the high weekend charge.
We went to lunch at Martin’s Saturday with Mimi and the Rhoads’ before Katie’s soccer game then got a little treat afterwards to enjoy the nice day outside.
Chris’s birthday celebration got extended this year since Leia had picked chris out a ‘special’ birthday present but it was late arriving so he got to open one more gift the weekend after his birthday. Leia laughed as hard as she laughed when she picked it out. It was total worth the money just for the laughs.
Mommy goes in to check on the girlies still before going to bed.There are some days she has to go searching for them. Love being able to watch them sleep and pray over them as they rest.
Our sleeping angel … yes, mommy is obsessed with sleeping pictures because one day she knows she will not be able to sneak in and watch them sleep and will have to look back on the pictures here
Sunday morning snuggles to try to convince daddy to go pick up breakfast … mommy said she was not cooking without water, the cleanup is not easy or fun. That afternoon we went to Mimi’s for lunch and to hang out for a while but neglected to get any pictures as we enjoyed the gorgeous day. The girls rode the golf cart while Mimi and Lisa walked. Before we left the girls soaked in the tub and made sure to tell us on the way home how they were ready to have our water turned back on
