Well we have not been as diligent as we should be at keeping up with our family blog or even taking pictures to document events in our lives. We totally skipped Chris and Lisa’s birthday, Adrian’s birthday celebration, Easter, several friends birthdays, as well as several other events. Truth be told some of the events even had a post started and never was completed. Here is a highlighted version of a couple missed occasions. Hopefully we will be better at sharing our special moments and times with family and friends in the future.
Dad (March 1st) and mom (March 17th) both enjoyed their special days with friends and family. Leia enjoyed opening their gifts and digging into the birthday cakes (despite the fact she would not touch her own just a few months before). One of our gifts came the month after our birthdays. We finally found a house to make our home and will be moving in next week. We will post pictures of our new house after we take possession and get settled in a little.
While we have been house hunting one of our family members, Sierra has been in Peach Tree City with her grandparents getting completely spoiled (yes, we know that is a grandparent’s privelege). We have been trying to get over there every month to make sure Leia remembers her doggy. She LOVES seeing dog-dog. Sierra is the BEST puppy for our little ones. It amazes me to see Sierra sit still while Leia put stickers all over her and Adrian colored her with chalk. We are looking forward to bringing her home the beginning of next month despite the fact she may mope around when we first get her home since I know she will miss being at her grandparents.
In April we got to go have a big weekend with DeeDee and Grandpa. That weekend we celebrate Adrian’s birthday, saw Gigi, and joined an Easter egg hunt at Kelly and Diego’s neighbor. That was one of the most fabulous Easter party for the kids I’ve seen. Even the Easter bunny showed up for pictures and hid the eggs for the kids. There were some older kids (second graders) hunting too and it was amazing to see them leave the young ones the eggs to find; those moms and dads did an amazing job raising their kids and should be very proud of them.
Kelly and Diego out did themselves again this year for Adrian’s birthday party (despite the fact my beautiful sister was 33 weeks pregnant with our youngest niece, Alicia). It was a great set-up filled with kids of all ages. They have such a fabulous neighborhood full of kids! I think everyone had a blast that was able to join in for the party. Adrian, we hope you had a fabulous birthday! We love you bunches!!
Easter Sunday we drove home to join Lisa’s parents, sister and family for Easter lunch and fun. Leia had caught on to the fact that eggs have prizes in them by the time this egg hunt started. She did very well at the hunt in Newnan but this time she did not get very many since she wanted to stop and open the eggs as she was going. Katie on the other hand collected as many as she could then decided to open them. Sara was somewhere in-between Leia and Katie. Leia ended up with plenty of eggs though since her sweet cousins shared their goodies with her.

We love getting the updates and seeing the pictures. We have to give you all the pictures we have of Leia at the Newnan Easter Party and Adrian’s birthday.
Kelly, I’d love to get those pictures! I couldn’t find my camera most the weekend. Thanks for sending a couple to us you took. Hope your feeling good. Only a few mire weeks till we meet Alicia 🙂
The picktures are great and all look well! Look forward to seeing you soon and keep in touch. Glad you were not affected by the tornado’s. Love, U. John in the Ville
