Today was the day the girls got to finally meet their teachers for 3rd and 1st grade. We got great teachers this year. Leia got Mrs Kennamer and Ivy got Mrs Draney. Leia knows a few people in her class this year but Ivy knows no-one again but she’s great at making friends. We are excited what the year will hold, the new things they will learn and sweet friends they will make or get to know better; However, we are sad our days of playing and having the whole day together is coming to a end until next summer or a short school break. Today the girls just wanted to be home most of the day so that is what we did. We played on the rug, laughed, chilled watching TV, enjoyed dinner, and simply just enjoyed being together. Bedtime came earlier than we wanted but knew the girls need it since they will have a full day. They both wanted to sleep in their room so started off in their own beds but as mommy sat she heard two little voices she figured out Ivy had made her way into Leia’s room because they wanted to be near each other. Warms my heart listening to their giggles and secret telling into the night. These are some of the best days of our lives! Treasuring every minute of it.
