Mimi took us bowling. The girlies enjoyed the arcade as much as they did actually bowling. Everyone played a game that hit a jackpot, even Mimi and Lisa. We ended up with almost 3700 tickets between everyone. Normally Leia shares tickets or gives Ivy tickets so it was nice that Ivy could share with Leia and Sara this time since Ivy wanted a stuffed snake that was 600. She gave the remaining of her tickets to even them up so the other 3 girls would each have 1,000 tickets but each of them got exactly what they each wanted from the prize counter.

After our bowling fun the girls wanted to go shopping so Mimi gave each of them a couple dollars at the dollar store. We had a lot of fun with Ivy’s dollar store snake
Lisa and the girls enjoyed a fun afternoon playing in Mimi’s pool. Lisa actually swam longer than either girl for the first time in a long time. Of course Ivy had a excuse since she was stung by something type of flying insect. Glad it was nothing toothpaste and a icee couldn’t take care of so she could come back to join our fun.

The girls started sleeping in as mid summer arrived. Ivy was the last one up but woke up hungry so when Lisa got up to fix breakfast Ivy took her place and rubbed Leia’s arm since Leia was not ready to stop snuggling. Love some sweet sister snuggles!
Ivy is our energizer bunny! While mommy was stretching she took the mat and wrapped herself like a taco. Then she led a few games of hang man for her, Leia, and mommy while daddy worked on school (Leia did not want her picture taken)

On the way to Mimi’s Ivy asked daddy to drive so when we got to Mimi’s neighborhood he let her get in his lap. She was so excited and figured out all the turns by herself. Teaching them to drive early since we know in a blink of a eye they will both be behind the wheel. Enjoying the years before that happens and savoring each moment and stage of life.

Girls are loving having neighbors over!
When Lisa sent a neighbor a text to give girls a 5 minute warning since they’d already stayed for dinner and it was after 8 the mom emails back with sad faces saying “ah, man. We are having fun” then sends a picture with the kids sad faces that we are ruining the fun … we are mean parents but we have been going non-stop and it is catching up with us

The girls asked for mommy to take their picture Leia told us it might be one of the only pictures we get of her willingly this week. We pray they love being together like they do know as they continue to grow.

The girls got to meet Ivy Bailey’s new pets. Guess what they want now

Ivy loves one of our neighbor’s dogs named Dixie. She has wanted to walk her since she meet her and often goes on walks with Lisa just hoping they will be walking for her too. Tonight was the night she got her wish and was able to walk Dixie. She had the biggest grin on her face and was so attentive making sure Dixie was ok if there was a car coming or another dog nearby

Ivy coming to find Lisa when she is suppose to be sleeping, “Mommy I can’t breath. I need to do the nets pot and take extra vitamins.” She is her mother’s child!

Mommy-Ivy time at Chuckecheese. Unfortunately, the picture of us together did not print but we have the memory π

Leia had said a couple times she wanted to try Top Golf after a few friends had talked about it. We decided to go on a family date night to let me try it out. Girls said it was one of the most fun family date nights so we will be going back. An added bonus was our server gave us a $10 off coupon for next time too π

Mommy-daughter game night. Ivy is one lucky chick; she won every game.

The girls loved having their stand! It was HOT

All smiles to spend the night at our neighbors house

While they were there mommy and daddy enjoyed a date night. Chris still will not pop a lava cake when we go out after he popped one without me on a date when we first started going out. Although the house was way too quite without them here

Fun time playing slip and slid softball with neighbors

Ivy came in all ready to go to Mimi’s to swim. She loves it
Love snuggling with out monkeys!

Love these two! We tucked them into their own beds but when we checked on them before we headed to bed they decided they needed to sleep together

Ivy was ready to go to Mimi’s for a girls spend the night party as soon as she woke up.
