Alabama was hit by a “winter storm” last night that left the roads very icy. Leia’s school was closed and all the adults in the house have to travel on raised roads to get to work so everyone stayed in the house for safety. Daddy and mommy are able to get to their work computers from home so they were able to be productive since the power stayed on.

There were hopes of getting out and playing in the snow for a little bit but there was more ice than snow and Leia ended up getting sick we did not get to. Hopefully next time there will be snow instead of ice and everyone in the house will be ‘fit as a fiddle’ so we can build snowmen, go sledding, and make snow angels. Even though it was icy and Leia did not feel well we did take a minute to walk outside to get pictures before coming back in the warm house.
