Leia’s last field trip in 2nd grade was to the Botanical Gardens. It was a short field trip and as many parents as wanted could come to it. The kids arrived at 9:30 and left at 11:30. There were so many parents there was a parent to every 1.5 kids. We all enjoyed having free time to explore the different areas after the presentation in the rain forrest. It is always nice to get away from school for a couple hours.  

Fun day continued that afternoon since we picked up Katie and it was warm enough for the monkeys to fill up the little pool in the backyard
