Grandpa and Deedee were headed to Spain in May so they came over the weekend before they left to celebrate Mother’s Day with us and for a quick visit. Friday, Gene and Chris went to play golf with a one of Chris’s coworkers. While the boys were playing Deedee and Lisa went to surprise Ivy’s class as mystery reader then planned on staying for lunch with the girls. Ivy was not feeling well so she checked out and chilled at home with mommy while Deedee had lunch with Leia. Both girls ended up getting checked out since Leia said she needed to check on her sister. Ivy rested a little bit then was feeling better so we went to go paint pottery since we had some time before the guys got home. That evening we cooked in and had sweet family time. Saturday, we hung around the house playing most the day except when Deedee and Grandpa took the girls to a trampoline park for a couple hours. That evening we went out to dinner to celebrate Mother’s Day to Brio’s. There was a few issues with the service so everyone ended up getting free desserts. Ivy said she was super tired afterwards and elected to go home with the guys while Lisa and Deedee took Leia to the mall to shop for a dress. Of course, Leia ended up walking out with a very cute one. Sunday, we all enjoyed breakfast before we had to say goodbye to Grandpa and Deedee and wish them a safe trip to Spain. 

The girls had playdates planned Thursday so when Grandpa and Deedee arrived they all decided to have a little fun to playing with grandpa

After dinner Saturday Lisa and Deedee took Leia shopping to look for a dress; Leia is growing up so quick
