The weekend fun started early for Ivy since she had a field trip to the zoo. She said her favorite part was seeing the animals and wanted to do it again so we ended up buying a membership for the first time ever (previously neither of our princesses have enjoyed the zoo). Our group consisted of all the girls in Ivy’s class that were there that day (there are only 6 girls total but one was home sick).  It was fun watching the girls in her class interact then we buddied up with another group so there were more than one parent which made it easier for bathroom breaks and navigating the zoo since we do not go that often. Everyone seemed to have lots of fun!

Friday night, Lisa got to take Leia to a Secret Keepers event for moms and daughters. We met Holly and AlexAnn for dinner at Outback then went for a night or worship, scripture, prayer, and fun. This season of life is incredible; thankful to be in it right now. Ivy had a special date with Mimi since you were suppose to be seven to attend the event and we gave daddy time to get some of his school work done so we could enjoy the rest of the weekend together. Ivy picked for them to go to dinner at Chickfila complete with ice-cream and then she gave Mimi lots of snuggles watching a movie and popcorn. Sweet one-on-one times with our baby girls. When Lisa and Leia got back to Mimi’s house Ivy was fast asleep and Leia was asking to go to bed too. 

Saturday, we all enjoyed sweet time together in the morning before Mimi cooked breakfast then we went to Target for the girls to shop. I am not sure how they conned Mimi into buying them a new doll but they did. We hung out, played at Mimi’s, and warmed up by a bonfire until mid-afternoon when we headed home since our neighbors were coming over to visit a little bit since we had not saw them in a couple weeks.

Sunday, Chris played golf for the first time since October while Lisa and the girls went to church and played with neighbors. Love watching them have fun with neighbors. We did not play as long as they would have liked since Ivy had soccer pictures and field day that afternoon. However, the girls enjoyed having their cousins over for dinner after the game.
