Happy birthday to Jesus, happy birthday to Jesus, happy birthday to Jesus, happy birthday to our Savior!
The is our second Christmas as a family of three. It is hard to be believe but this Christmas was even better than the last. Last year we spent Christmas Eve night at Mimi and Papa’s house since it was easier on us rather than packing a three week old two days in a row. This year of course we were here again since we are temporarily living with them while we are in search for a new house. It may become a tradition to let Santa visit Leia at Mimi and Papa’s house.
Leia slept in this year but ran over to her loot as soon as mommy put her in the floor. Santa left a Dora vanity table, Little Tikes sport center, Leapfrog train, Leapfrog bus, and a stocking full of goodies for Leia. After Santa visited her cousins Sara and Katie, they came over for our traditional breakfast by Mimi. All the girls are so small we even got to clean up the table before anyone was ready to open up gifts but when it started it lasted half a day. Mimi and Papa spoiled their grand-girls! But, hey what are grandchildren for?!?
This Christmas was the first Christmas in over a hundred years that snow and stuck to the ground. Although, there was not enough snow to completely cover the ground so it was not a total ‘white’ Christmas it was beautiful watching it fall and made the scenery out the window look like a postcard Christmas. Chris and Mark braved the cold outside to grill steaks for a nice Christmas dinner. Mike (Mark’s brother) joined us too. It was a a great day full of family, laughter, love and memorable moments.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
