The girls got a long weekend the week end before our Thanksgiving trip since they had Veterans day off. The weekend was productive, relaxing and stressful, and simply not long enough. Every morning the girls got to stay in their PJs until they were ready to get dressed although they woke up before 6am. Our new living room arrived Friday, we helped Mimi finish decorating her house, Christmas time arrived at our house as we decorated too in order to have it all set when we come home from Gatlinburg, Ivy bought her Barbie House she saved all her birthday money to buy. Lisa put it together, Katie bug spent the night with us and Ivy with Sara, and the girlies got to play with neighborhood friends. It was a great weekend! Thankful for a long one to get all that done. Monday all the girls in the house wish they could be off with Chris since he took a day off so he would lose vacation days. The girls asked him to come to lunch with them on the way to school so he did which helped make the Monday blues at school better for the girlies.

Mimi started her Christmas decorations earlier than she ever has before since she wants to make sure the house was all decorated when she returned from Gatlinburg. Mimi’s six girls went to her house to help decorate her Christmas trees. Lisa loves looking at all the ornaments and traveling through memory lane.

The apple never falls far from the tree; Lisa wanted the house decorated before heading to Gatlinburg too so when we returned Christmas time was all around. The girls were super excited to hang the first ornaments and lasted about half way through the ornament hanging before they left Lisa to finish it

Saturday night Katie bug spent the night with Leia at our house and Ivy spent the night with Sara at her house. All four came over Sunday to play with Ivy’s new barbie house that she bought with her birthday money

After a three day weekend the girls did not want to go back to school. Chris was off on Monday since he has to take a few days off work before he loses vacation. The girls asked Chris to have lunch with them since he was off; Mommy asked for a selfie so he took one. 
   

Wednesday night was our monthly ladies night with Kristi and Stephanie. Love getting to do life with these strong ladies!
