Lisa was thankful she got to go to Ivy’s first field trip at VHEW with Mrs Chambliss’s class. They are such a sweet group of students. The farm was so organized too! There was about 14 classes at the farm and their was a schedule for each class. Our scheduled was the hay-maze, cotton picking, feeding/petting the cows, hayride to pick out pumpkins, lunch, and last stop on our trip at the farm petting the animals. Everyone left with great memories, cotton, a pumpkin. What a great time!
Lined up and ready to get this field trip started!

I knew I liked Ms Chambliss …. she suggested getting a few group photos before the kids got too wild

Always fun to make funny faces!
Last group shot … let the fun begin

On the way to the bathroom break, Lisa let her group swing for a minute … I may have broke the rules but the kids enjoyed it!

The kids had to learn on the field trip too. Before they got to pick it they had to learn how too and what all it is used for and how it helps us

Trying to get a good view of the baby cows
Sweet friends

Mr Mike drove us out to the pumpkin patch

Searching for the perfect pumpkin

All smiles!

These kiddos were hungry by lunch time! They normally eat at 10:30 and lunch wasn’t until 12:15 today.

The farm did a great job talking about the animals and holding the kids attention before they got to pet each animal.

The hand wash station was as big as a hit with the kids as anything else! Simply to make too; we may look at incorporating one at our house.

On the way out Ivy was excited to buy popcorn for the class to have at snack time 🙂

Looks like a great field trip! Glad you go to go too, Lisa. Love, Aunt Joy
