We checked the girls out a little early the first week of school for a short and sweet family escape to Nashville, TN. The girls love mermaids so when we had saw online where the aquarium restaurant had mermaids swimming in their salt water tanks it sounded like it would be a fun thing to take them too. Not wanting the night to be boring sitting in the room and it is Friday night which means it the Comfort’s “Fun Family Friday Date Night” we decided to take them to the mall. They racked up shopping too! Two new pair of shoes each, a stuffed animal, jewelry, several outfits, nerd glasses, and legos the girls were done shopping in Nashville. Before we left the mall they got to jump on a bungie trampoline and the Comfort girls got to experience Dave and Busters for the first time too where they won enough tickets to get D&B stuffed donuts. What a fun Friday family date night in Nashville!
The girls wanted to roll the suitcases in … as I walked behind Leia couldn’t help but think she looked so big and independent. Children are amazing and grow so fast. We better enjoy these years and pray over them daily. God guide our children.

Fun time at the mall!

We ate at Johnny Rockets. Leia was hangry so she did not want the hat so mommy wore it with little Ivy

The girls were full force ahead when we said the mall but so cute in their nerd glasses and excited to get a new toy they said they would not ask for a real dog again if we bought them; we even got it on video to remind them later.

So much fun! They ended up giving the girls about 12 minutes on the bungie trampolines since they were not busy (normally they give 3 minutes). We could not talk Ivy into doing a back flip but talked Leia into it. After Ivy saw big sister do it she started doing them too. Both girls want to do this again; next time mommy may have to join them đŸ˜‰

Mommy almost did not snap a single picture in D&B we were having so much fun. The last 5 minutes we snapped these to freeze the memory

Daddy was the champ on the family air hockey table

Lots of fun and the girls loved their prizes they won
Saturday morning we woke early to go to the mermaid breakfast. The girls got photo ops with the mermaids before and after they swam. Not sure if they were more impressed with the mermaids or that they got to chose whatever they wanted for breakfast and they had everything Ivy and Leia liked there. After a big breakfast and we watched the mermaids we opted to walk around the mall a little more to walk it off and finish up our shopping spree since there were several great deals. We headed home around lunch time to go to Mimi’s to celebrate aunt Stacy’s birthday with the family since on her birthday she is suppose to go to Sara’s parent night. We scored a yummy, homemade meal heading home from a trip so it was a win-win for us.
