Leia

Mother’s Day Weekend

Friday night, Katie’s game was cancelled but we all still went to dinner with the family then Leia and Katie went to spend the night with Mimi. Ivy was the first one in the pool this year. Mimi was going to let them play on the steps and Ivy said she wanted to do a cannon ball so jumped in to make a splash in the 72 degree water (to cold to me … brrr) . Leia was a little more cautious and remained on the  steps or on top of a float. Of course warm bath followed before they headed to the den to snuggle, have a treat, and watch a movie to relax before bed time to get up early on Saturday. Leia talked Mimi into taking her to the store to buy a birthday present for a friend’s party and of course Ivy is always up to go somewhere.

The girls were just going to put their feet in but Ivy talked Mimi into letting her do a cannon ball while Leia was more cautious and hung out on the float

 Happy Mothers Day!
Thankful to get to spend it with our little family. Time together is the best gift this momma could ask for!

Sweet Leia sang a song for mommy and wrote her book. Ivy gave mommy a plate with a drawing she made on it. Such sweet gifts!

Sweet girls gave Mimi special gifts just from them

Thankful to get to spend part of Mother’s Day with my momma!
She is a Proverbs 31 woman and great role model. She loves her family with more faithfulness, selflessness, loyalty, and gentleness than any of us deserve. She is truly one of my greatest blessings and best friends! So grateful God gave you to our family!

Lisa and Stacy gave Mimi the same card; we do have similar taste

Thankful Nana came to spend part of the day with us too. She is a strong woman whose admired by all her children and grandchildren. She loves her family beyond question, a little goofy, and a matriarch. We love our Nana!

A little family time in the evening snuggled up watching TV. So blessed to have each of them and get to spend time together; treasuring these moments!

Unfortunately we did not get to spend the day with Deedee but she was in our thoughts and we were able to FaceTime thanks to modern technology. She is an amazing mom, generous , faithful, selfless, loyalty, and gentle. Blessed we get to call her ours and thankful for the time we get to spend together. Hoping we get to celebrate how amazing she is in person soon. We love you bunches!
