We were so excited to have aunt Joy and uncle John visit us this weekend! The girls were so excited when they arrived and loved the polish they brought them. Of course, aunt Joy, Lisa Leia, and Ivy immediately had to paint nails with cool polish that changes colors in the sun light (they had to wait till Sunday mid morning to see the color change since it was not sunny on Saturday but thought is was awesome and they were telling everyone about it). Leia got a little ‘hangry’ not too long after we gave them a tour of the house so we headed to a new place in town Pizitz Food Hall to see what all the talk about town was over this place. It was a nice lunch with plenty of options for everyone to get what they wanted to eat. It was overcast as we were walking in but raining on the way out so we headed back to the house for the evening. The girls played to get energy out while we enjoyed a glass or two of wine and visited. That evening Chris grilled out steak in the rain and we enjoyed sweet family time. Loved watching Ivy interact and entertain (or be entertained). She has such a heart for people and loves having people over! She has mentioned to us several times how much she loves aunt Joy and uncle John and told us we should go visit them too. I had to smile watching her lead uncle John around by the hand, having him dancing, watch a movie on her phone until she zonked out on him, snuggle up with aunt Joy, talk to them about anything on her mind, and just love visiting them both. So thankful they love our girls as much as we all love them and they stopped by to visit! Hope they come back again soon!!
