Kelly, Diego, Adrian, and Alicia came to visit to celebrate Leia’s birthday, see our new home, and celebrate Christmas since Adrian had a soccer tournament on Leia’s birthday weekend and they will be in Spain for Christmas. It was a jam packed 24 hours but always a joy to spend time with family. They headed over right when the kids got home from school. Apparently it was not quick enough for Leia and Ivy since they asked about a 100 times when they would arrive before they finally saw their car pulling up. We cooked dinner in that evening, Leia opened her birthday presents, the kids played, the adults visited, and then all 4 little ones all slept in Leia’s room (we pulled the mattresses from Ivy’s room into Leia’s to make it comfy for all). The next morning we got donuts since it was the day we were celebrating Christmas together and Leia said it should be special breakfast. The kids each got to decorate a giant gingerbread cookie before opening their Christmas gifts. Adrian had a great idea to make “snow” later then morning  so we whipped some up for them to play with on the porch. What a fun time with our cousins, Kelly and Diego; hope they come back to visit us again soon!
