Leia is an absolute joy to our family! Can not remember life before she entered our little family and so thankful God allows us to have her as part of it. Even though she did not want too she had to go to school on her birthday but we celebrated ALL day long. She woke up and opened gifts from mommy, daddy, and sissy right away. Then Mimi, Sara and Katie came to breakfast with us and she got to blow out her first candle of the day. Lisa and Ivy met her and her cousins for a birthday lunch. They may have been a little concerned when Lisa brought out a candle to sing happy birthday in the lunchroom. We did sing quietly so we would not embarrass anyone but there was a candle in her ice cream for her to make another wish. That afternoon Lisa checked the Leia and her cousins out a little early to meet Mimi at the mall for a little afternoon birthday fun. Mimi let each of the girls each pick out a surprise. The girls had a blast walking around the mall looking for their surprises. Leia ended up picking out a build-a-bear, Ivy got a hat, and Sara and Katie opted to go to Target later that day. Of course before we left the mall the girls got to ride the carousel and pick out a sweet treat to celebrate a little more. Daddy came home early from work so we headed back home to chill out and have a little family time before going to dinner. Leia’s choice this year was Texas De Brazil (we should not had gotten that afternoon treat since we were going here but it’s her birthday, there were no rules). Leia requested to go home after dinner so we headed home for a movie night, snuggled up on the couch, game playing, and chill time night to celebrate the rest of our little girls birthday. We hope you had the happiest birthday yet sweet Leia. Mommy and Daddy love you always and forever!!
Ivy’s class sang at a nursing home that morning. Thankfully the timing worked out just right so we could do that then head to lunch with our birthday girl

So glad Leila had such a great 7th birthday!! Love, Aunt Joy
