September was busy with us purchasing a new house and somehow we drifted halfway into October already. Time seems to be going faster and faster these days. We closed on our new house September 8th. We signed the papers and went to the new house to discover the air conditioner not working and dead flies all over the house (the listing agent said she was having it deep cleaned). We cleaned the house and started moving in a few things. That weekend Mimi, Mr Al, uncle Mark, and aunt Stacy helped move some furniture; thank you all! Such a blessing to have family to help. The following week we had movers move the heavy pieces still with no air. Unpacking was a little slower than expected with the heat and Lisa having some ear issues that impacted equilibrium so a month later we are still getting boxes unpacked and settled. Thank you Mimi and Mr Al for helping unpack, hanging shelves, pictures, and more. One concern we had with moving was how the girls would adjust but we all are loving the open floor plan and both have said they like this house more than the other one; an answer to prayers. There are tons of kids the girls ages in the neighborhood too and the girlies are having fun showing them their new playroom as we meet sweet neighbors. I am sure we will have tons of fantastic memories made in our new home. Family and friends are welcome anytime to come visit us in our new home.

The girls were supper excited to sleep in their new house. Since we moved in the air upstairs messed up so we all had a slumber party until it was fixed.

Girls like cooking in the new kitchen … this is going to be a fun kitchen with our girlies

The girlies had fun watching dead/dying trees come down at the new house with a crane and monkeys climbing in the trees. Thank you Mimi for our house warming gift, overseeing the tree trimming days we had to work, and helping set up our house.

The girls love the tree swing at God’s House Kindergarten so as a house warming gift we gave them a tree swing and while the tree company was out we had them hang it.

The girlies and big kids all are enjoying it

Daddy had to go out of town and and the got to sleep with mommy and stuck close by to mommy. So blessed to have these little monkeys!

This is mommy’s perfect night …. movie night in holding our littles

Grandpa and Deedee came to visit and see our new house. Bonus, Deedee offered to come help organize while Grandpa was out of town the next week. Blessed to have her help!

Thank you Grandpa and Deedee for our gas logs

Thank you Deedee for helping organize the house and trimming bushes
Had to post picture of the playroom, cleaned and organized not sure if it will look this way again after the kids start having fun

Fun mornings taking girls to school, stopping for treats, and playing on the park. Love the beautiful fall mornings!

We got to go to visit Deedee for her birthday this year. We were super excited to get to go and had big plans. The night before her birthday Ivy distracted Deedee upstairs for Leia to decorate then we surprised her with decorations. Unfortunately, before everyone woke up on her birthday morning Leia got sick and had little energy for anything on Deedee’s birthday. We did still get to sing happy birthday at breakfast while Leia lounged on the couch. Kelly, Alicia, and Adrian got there mid morning but sweet Leia still had no energy to play but the other grandkids entertained Deedee on her birthday and showered her with love. By that evening we Leia was a little better so she got to snuggle with Deedee a little bit too. We are all blessed to have such a amazing woman to call our Deedee. Praying God blesses her all of her days!
Deedee being surprised with her decorations and morning time birthday wishes

Princess Leia is a blessed girl with others bringing her entertainment. Adrian was sweet to catch her butterflies since she did not have energy to do much for her viewing pleasures. She did try to go paint but it only lasted a minute before she was back on the couch then slept through the cake time.

Chocolate chip cookie, brownie cake for our chocolate loving Deedee

Thankful aunt Kelly sent us anti nausea meds and Leia had a little more energy that evening to snuggle with the birthday girl.

The day after Deedee’s birthday everyone felt better so we got to play, snuggle, and have fun.

On the way home though Ivy said she felt sick. Thankfully she was good but we were prepared

The Monday after our trip school was closed. The girlies got to spend the night with Mimi since they were out of school and both Chris and Lisa had to work. They stopped by the park on the way to Mimi’s then was spoiled at Mimi’s with a fun time

Sweet Ivy requested a picture of her holding baby Elliot while people were over to watch one of the AL games; she does love babies and spent half her time with them and the other half with the big kids. The girls had a blast in the playroom with their neighbors Maddie and Emma while mommy and daddy watched AL game and fellowshipped upstairs.

Friday nights are soccer nights these days. Leia loves playing on the team with Katie and having uncle Mark as her coach

Spend the night fun. Love that the girls get o have special fun together. With the playroom downstairs I did not see them much as they let their imagination run wild. Miss having them close while cooking and straightening the house but enjoy not tripping over toys in the living areas too.

The girls got to go to one of Ivy’s friends birthday parties at Let’s Play. It was fun. It had been a while since we had been there to play.

Mommy has neglected getting too many pictures of our recent fun but we have savored the time together as a family, getting to visit friends and having them over to our home, and getting to know a few of our neighbors. Love is sweet with family and friends you love!
So glad you are settled in your new home and getting use to your new place too!! Love, Aunt Joy
