Loved having a 3 day weekend with the girlies but we sure did miss Chris but hope he is having a great time at Brannon Dunes playing golf. We split our time between having fun at Mimi’s and chilling in our house all weekend. We spent two nights at Mimi’s this weekend. So much fun soaking in the sun in the pool and swimming when it got in the shade. The little monkeys have started liking to play pool volleyball; Ivy calls is basket ball and likes it more than Leia right now but we did get Leia to play once with us. Girls had fun in with the water hose and riding the go-cart at Mimi’s too. It was nice to have some chill time with Mimi too. At home the house was packed in boxes so it is not as chilled but we managed to have fun and watch movies in mommy and daddy’s bed. Wish every week could be a 3 day weekend. Back to school tomorrow and a busy week ahead but savoring the last few minutes of the long weekend.

Girls asked to sleep with mommy since daddy was out of town after Deedee left; of course we said yes. It is a treat to watch tv until we fall asleep and talk way past our bed times.
