Leia took her first steps on Tuesday, October 18th. Lisa and Leia were at a playdate when Leia braved her first step.  She only took one step before she realized that she was not holding onto anything and dropped down to crawl but she is on her way to walking. After that first step she took two additional steps before she was too tired from all the excitement and needed a nap.

That evening Leia showed off for Chris too. She took one more step while daddy, mommy and she played before bedtime. Our bright idea to get a camera and try to get a picture or video was a little late. Leia stopped standing when she saw the camera. Apparently she is not ready to share her new trick with everyone. Hopefully she will let us get a picture/video soon so we can share it with everyone.
