Grandpa and Deedee blessed us with a Disney Cruise trip this summer. We had a blast! We met up with Grandpa, Deedee, aunt Kelly, uncle Diego, Adrian, and Alicia in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise ship left. The kids were so excited to see each other and had a kid table to themselves at dinner then Chris took Leia and Ivy swimming to get some of their energy out from being in the car all day. The next morning just after the the girls finished eating a muffin we ran into Grandpa and Deedee for a few minutes before everyone got their stuff together to head to the ship where families were announced as they entered the ship.
Upon entering the ship we looked around briefly then beelined to get princess tickets since we had been told they run out before heading to the pool deck for fun to begin. The big siblings had fun going down the aqua duck slide while the little sisters played in the Mickey or Donald pool. Leia and Alicia had fun sliding down the Mickey slide (Ivy was not tall enough to do it). The little princesses and prince went to Nemo’s reef shooting the water at each other, sliding down the sting ray, and running thru the rain. We grabbed a quick lunch then went to see our cabin for the first time and unpacked. Lisa, Kelly, and Diego took the 4 munchkins up for the “Mickey sail away party” then watched as the ship departed. The excitement Leia had as we began to sail was priceless! We had main dining seating so headed to get ready and went to the Animation Room for dinner where Crush from Finding Nemo entertained us while we ate before heading to the girls’ favorite evening show, “The Golden Mickey”.
On the second day, we met Diego, Kelly, Adrian, and Alicia for breakfast before they headed to a beach in Nassau. We met up with Grandpa and Deedee who stayed on the ship too and enjoyed the amenities. Day 3, everyone enjoyed the beach at Disney’s Island Castaway and slid down the water slide; we got smart and did not let them see how short Ivy so she got to do it too. We were in vacation mode from the time that bags were unpacked and the days ran together, a sign of a good vacation. It was a fun filled time being spoiled by the crew, not lifting a finger, and just enjoying being together. We played on the pool deck, sliding down the aqua duck, running through Nemo’s Reef, relaxing in the pools, and getting ice cream anytime we wanted. Adrian played putt-putt several times and got Leia to join him once. We all got to see multiple Disney characters, join in dance parties, do crafts, enjoy nightly shows, Leia got to fly with pixie dust, and more. Each little one had their own favorite thing on the cruise. Adrian said his favorite was being selected to help in the magic show. Leia’s favorite was that everything was done for her; in talking we figured out she liked that because mommy and daddy didn’t have to work since they did everything and could play with her. Alicia’s favorite was seeing the princesses. While, Ivy’s favorite was getting to see Pluto (her weekly pick). Everyone enjoyed teethe vacation and time together on our magical cruise.
Thank you Grandpa and Deedee for taking us on Disney’s Dream!
Girls wanted a lift to see the sail-a-away party

Mommy! We are moving! Her reaction was priceless, the picture did not capture it all.

Pictures in the port hole … not sure how Lisa missed this photo op

Our mermaid and princess looking for princess Ariel

Celebrating Alicia’s birthday on the ship

What fun we had talking to princesses, Mickey, and all their friends … here are a few of the pictures not all of them

Our stateroom host left chocolate and towel animals every night. The girls enjoyed seeing what he made every night and getting a special piece of chocolate before, they may have gotten theirs and mommy’s/daddy’s

The girls loved the bunk beds, having room service available, and escaping the business for a few minutes and playing in the room.

Mommy snuck a kiss but then Ivy needed one too … love our little princess
Love my family!

Exploring the kids area

Mommy and Ivy had a special time together doing a craft and going to a dance part with Pirate Jake from Neverland

Leia needed a little special time too so when sissy was sleeping we snuck off to a wake up with Disney Junior party where Goofy showed up and turned it into a dance party

Each night there was a different show. We arrived a little early so Lisa entertained Ivy when her swimmer ear was acting up by taking selfies and the girls entertained themselves by dressing daddy up. Adrian got to help with a magic show too.

These two loved being together so grandpa got double love when he picked up one.

Disney’s island, Castaway Key. Both our girls walked in the sand and got in the beach, willingly 🙂

While we were out playing the crew checked the emergency equipment
Pirate night … of course Lisa made sure we all dressed up. Thank you Chris for playing along. We ended up enjoying the fireworks on our balcony to escape the crowd on the pool deck

The girls saying goodbye to Clayton who spoiled us all week. Both our little ones loved the “fancy” stairs

Thank you Mimi for giving the girls a little spending money; they had fun shopping.

Lisa took the little sisters to say “see you later” to Mickey, Minnie, and Daisy while the big sister/brother took one last ride on the aqua duck

Loved all the pictures and know you had a fabulous cruise!!! What great memories for the girls too!! Love, Aunt Joy
