DeeDee has been staying with us all week while she is off for Spring Break.  She wanted to come and see Leia and we were very happy to have her (and Grandpa) visit this week.

Since Lisa was off on Friday the three of them (Leia, Lisa, and DeeDee) met me [Chris] for lunch and then headed out to do some shopping at The Summit.  It seems that while they were shopping in Bed Bath and Beyond DeeDee over heared someone say “Just waiting for the Golf to start” and she thought the voice sounded very familiar and headed around the corner to be sure.

Standing there was Charles Barkley.  DeeDee asked for his Autograph which he graciously signed for DeeDee.  Lisa, always prepared grabbed the camera from her bag and asked Charles if she could take his picture with DeeDee.  Then, to make sure Leia was not left out asked if Charles would also take a picture with Leia.

When I got home after work Leia, Lisa, and DeeDee surprised me with their pictures with Charles.

They both commented how nice he was and mentioned that he even waved to them when he drove by in the parking lot.
