Chris and Lisa took Leia to see the Easter Bunny with her friend CJ and his parents, Cory and Kelly. Both the little ones did great with the Easter Bunny despite the fact there was technical difficulties and we had to wait an extra 30 minutes.  The extra time gave the adults more time to visit though and it was worth the wait to get a picture for her baby book .

Unfortunately, Leia is getting to be more like her mommy than daddy’s sleep pattern of late (Chris and I were hoping she’d take after him in that arena). While we were all out and about she insisted on skipping her mid-day nap, scared she would  miss something going on around her. Her desire to see what is going on even makes it a challenge to eat at times since she thinks it takes too much time (I think she gets this from Cousin Katie). However, we can’t complain too much since she was still just as pleasant as always.

Like Saturday, this past Sunday afternoon was beautiful! Our family was able to enjoy time outside once we got home. One of Leia’s new favorite things is her bumbo since she can sit like a big girl all by herself. We carried it outside to swing then cooked out together. Actually, Leia helped Lisa prepare/cook the sides inside then we watched Chris grill and called grandparents to say hello since Leia was in a talkative mood.
