The girls enjoyed the end of the year playing with their new and old toys. Mommy was off work the whole time and daddy was off most of it. Most the time when we asked the girls preferred to stay home and just have fun with mommy and daddy. We are so blessed to get to make these memories with our sweet girls!

There was one day the girls agreed to have a family day to McWane. It was very crowded! We did not stay as long as normal but we enjoyed the last day of the winter wonderland exhibit and the girls got to play in their favorite areas. We also ran into our neighbors and got to ride the train with them and play with them a little bit. When we had all the fun we could stand and the girls started saying they were hungry we headed out.

Daddy had a great thought to call uncle Mark to see if they wanted to meet for lunch. The girls were excited when they heard they would get to have lunch with their cousins. We missed aunt Stacy though who was working but thankful we got to see the rest of the Rhoads’ family.

After lunch George and his little brother Alex came to play with us that after noon. Ivy LOVED baby Alex! She did not want to leave his side; she wanted to help do everything to take care of him. Luckily he liked her too. Although, she did take a short break to have a snack with George and Leia.

Cousin Stephanie’s birthday is Dec 22. We celebrated with her a week late. Mimi took us all to Stix
Hope you had a very Happy Birthday Stephanie!
Leia got to perform one of her dances at church the Sunday before the new year. She had so much fun and did even better than she did at her Christmas performance. Love watching her excitement when she dances.

We are glad to see 2013 come to a end! This is the first year in several we have not lost someone special to us (2010 uncle Ronnie died, 2011 Mama died, 2012 daddy/papa died). The girls celebrated the end of the year with sparklers Mimi bought them since it was not dark enough to shoot the fire works but we will shoot them one evening soon. Thankful to see this year come to a end and look forward to what God has in store for us the next year.

Goodbye 2013; Hello 2014!
