Thank you Mimi or always being willing to keep our girls! Thursday, Lisa had a doctor appointment so she was going to take the girls to school part of the day but that morning Mimi said we should just go to aunt Stacy’s that she was keeping Katie a little bit that morning for aunt Stacy to run to an appointment so when the girls had a choice of school or Katie’s they both said Katie-bugs. Before leaving for appointments we all got to share a couple donuts before the girls entertained Mimi. After Lisa’s appointment, she got to meet them for lunch where the girls enjoyed watching and feeding turtles then making wishes throwing pennies into a fountain before getting a ice-cream cone for eating their lunch and being so sweet.<\/p>\n

Friday, we got to have a play date with Trinity, Journey, and Glory. What a fun time. They came over to our house a little while to play while we had contractors at the house then as the day progressed we were all HOT. We decided to head to Mimi’s house for a little fun in the pool. Leia had been wanting Trinity to swim with her and seems encouraged to try more and swim farther when other friends are around swimming.<\/p>\n

Saturday, Leia wanted to go swim again so she got daddy to get in. Mommy was impressed daddy got her to jump off the diving board (a first). She is getting so big and brave! We are savoring the last few weeks of the pool being warm enough to swim. When it does get too cold to swim outside we are going to have to join ‘The Y’ to keep our little mermaid in the water.<\/p>\n

Of course we also cheered on our team as Alabama played Texas A&M. The girls were great cheer leaders yelling Roll Tide and get them. Mommy and Mimi watched it all in honor of Papa; sure wish he would had been cheering with us!

Sunday, Leia preformed in church for the first time. She danced with the dance team. She was a little nervous and missed a few of the steps because of her nerves but mommy and daddy were super proud of her! After church the girls and mommy went to meet Mimi, aunt Stacy, Sara and Katie for lunch since daddy headed to the airport. That evening Lisa and the girls headed back to church for a picnic, fellowship with some sweet friends, and bouncy house fun (Leia decided she wants a bouncy house birthday after sliding down it – wonder what’ll be next week she wants).<\/p>\n
