Happy Birthday Nana!

Eighty four years has brought many seasons in Nana’s life–2 husbands, 3 kids, 4 grandkids, and 8 great grandkids! Through it all she has remained spunky, chatty and no doubt a lady of strength and faith. She has been forced to bury two husbands that she loved dearly and my daddy, her favorite child (no secret to anyone). A few of my fondest memories of nana include her gardening and fishing with my pawpaw (they would not let me pick up potatoes anymore after we found a snake one time and pawpaw never would let the grand-girls put the worm on the hook), nana often tells how she is surprised that she has hair left after letting my sister and I play beauty shop with our not so tender hands, her bringing me pizza, fries, chocolate milk, and peanut butter desserts from the lunchroom in elementary school even though momma had packed my lunch, and listening to the stories of my daddy growing up and how he could do no wrong.<\/p>\n

At our spend the night party the girls made her a book card and were excited to give it to her!
