Leia and Adrian counted down to the day they were coming to visit. They were so excited to get to see each other! They play so well together and just enjoy being together. We absolutely need to get together more often; a two and half hour trip is not long enough to let as much time as we are guilty of letting pass between visits. Hopefully next time uncle Diego can make it too, we missed him but glad he got some rest and hope he feels better soon. Leia knew that after rest time Adrian would be here so she was ready to rest Saturday. Kelly and the kids actually arrived while I was putting her down but she needed to rest so we continued with our nap time especially since we had not the day before. As soon as she started to stir, mommy went to get her so she could join the fun in the back yard. We all enjoyed the kids playing on the swing set but as it started to cool off the kids wanted to head inside. Ivy joined the party a little later than anticipated from her nap so she missed most the outside play. She and Alicia think they are as big as Adrian and Leia. We had thought about going out that evening but the kids told us they’d rather stay in the house to play dress-up (love their imaginations), hide-n-seek, house, chase, and more. Everyone got to stay up late to get a few extra minutes together (unfortunately, we did not get many pictures the first day since mommy was busy visiting with aunt Kelly).<\/p>\n

We lost an hour Sunday morning and mommy or daddy couldn’t get going so we missed church. Leia had been excited to get to introduce her cousin Adrian to her church friends so hopefully next time we can do that. We managed to get on clothes and outside mid-morning to enjoy the most beautiful weather we have had all year. The kids had a great time playing outside at the house but the adults thought they may have fun at the park too. The little sisters enjoyed climbing up a stoop, stairs and sliding while the big ones ran all over the park jumping from one activity to the next. We played there a little while before grabbing lunch and going back home where the fun, exciting aunt Kelly let the kids throw water balloons at her before they had to head home and we headed up for rest time. After rest time Daddy, mommy, and our girls continued enjoying the day in the sunshine. Love the ‘extra’ hour daylight savings time gives us! We all enjoyed our weekend together!, so much fun<\/p>\n

Morning fun at home. Adrian is fearless and Leia wants to do anything he does so she is a little braver when he is around \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
