Mommy was blessed to get ‘extra’ day with the girls this week since the company closed for MLK Day. Daddy decided to work since he had several things to finish up at the office and when no one is there it can be very productive. The girls (mom included) spent Sunday night with Mimi so Monday we could meet Kelly and CJ to celebrate his birthday Monday morning since we missed his party this past weekend. Leia and Ivy enjoyed the 68 degree January weather on Sunday and\u00a0playing in Mimi’s fun packed yard. They had a blast on a afternoon walk too. Monday morning Leia was excited to see Mimi had left the fire on for us (I really need to get a video of her excitement, of course if I had the camera out she probably would lose some of the enthusiasm that is very entertaining). We enjoyed watching Doc McStuffin by the fire then got dressed and headed out to meet our friends right after little sister got up. The kids had fun picking out a donut before heading to the park to run off the sugar. Leia managed to pick out 3 claiming she needed to pick one for daddy and Mimi as a surprise too. While Leia ate most of hers at the park Ivy decided mommy’s was better and she would just share with mom- love that little girl. Of course when Leia realized Ivy was eating some of mommy’s she needed to ‘try’ it too. Later, Leia told me they could share Ivy’s tomorrow. They crack me up! They are two peas in a pod and love to do what the other one is doing. If one has a a hat, the other wants to know where their’s is at. If one is sitting in mommy’s lap, the other one thinks she should as well. Little sister has to sit next to Mimi if big sister is; hence at lunch today Ivy climbed out of the highchair to sit on the bench with Mimi and Leia. Both girls want the last kiss when mommy or daddy are leaving. Even though they want whatever the other one has they definitely look out for each other too.\u00a0They are so sweet and joys in our life. \u00a0Love the days we get to spend together just enjoying each other’s company and making precious memories!<\/p>\n
