Let’s be honest with each other, most of you only come here to see the newest pictures of Leia.\u00a0 That’s ok with us, but you will probably be disappointed with this post.<\/p>\n
Saturday started off like many others.\u00a0 Leia, Lisa, and I headed out to Gardendale to spend the day at Mimi and Papa’s along with Stacy, Sara, Katie, and Mark.\u00a0 It was a nice day, though it turned windy and cold.<\/p>\n
Everyone returned to their homes Saturday night feeling fine [foreshadowing].<\/p>\n
Sunday was an exciting day for me [Chris] since the Jets were in the AFC championship and I was definitely hoping they were on the way to the Superbowl.\u00a0 Mimi, Papa, and Katie came over to watch some of the game.\u00a0 Sara was not feeling well so they had picked her up to spend the night with them.<\/p>\n
That is when things started to take a turn for the worse.\u00a0 I noticed a funny feeling in my stomach and then Lisa started to feel bad as well.<\/p>\n
Through the night the sickness also attacked Mimi, Papa, and Stacy.\u00a0 The fortunate ones that appear to be left alone were Mark, Katie, and Leia.<\/p>\n
Having Lisa and I nearly out of commission and all of our in town family also under the weather we called upon DeeDee who was happy to drive from Atlanta after work on Monday.\u00a0 She arrived excited to spend time with her granddaughter and was there through the night to help Lisa after each feeding.<\/p>\n
Lisa, Leia, and I would like to thank DeeDee from the bottom of our hearts for all of the help.\u00a0 She may have only been here for 24 hours but it Lisa and I really needed all the rest we could get!<\/p>\n
Lisa and I both remembered, after DeeDee left, that we should have gotten a few pictures with the two of them together.\u00a0 Hence the reason there are no pictures with this post.\u00a0 Fortunately, DeeDee and Grandpa will be visiting soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
