Rest time Tuesday became a play time for Leia. However, mommy did not complain since she was entertaining herself in her room other than when she managed to knock the pictures off the wall and freak out a few minutes. It was enjoyable listening to her while getting housework done; the sounds of kids make our home a happy place. After \u2018rest time\u2019 was over, it was comical to hear her run to her bed (in her high heels) to climb in and act like she was resting so she would not get in trouble as she heard the door to her room open. (I guess she thought mom could not hear earlier or see all the dress up clothes and furniture re-arranged in her room). Either way, mom played dumb and asked why she was dressed up while she was resting? Her reply, \u201cI wanted to feel like a princess\u201d. Mommy smiled while assuring her she was a princess then Ivy and mommy proceeded to play dress up with Princess Leia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Princess Ivy likes dress up as much as her sister! We put one of the tops on her and she gave the biggest grin before grabbing a crown, putting it on, and climbing into the princess chair to sit like she was a big girl. She would stand up to wave to us then sit down as mommy and Leia cheered so proud of herself. Mommy was proud when instead of sitting down one time she took 4 steps straight to Lisa\u2019s arms to give loving hugs and kisses away. Leia hung around a few minutes before making her way to the vanity table. As soon as Ivy noticed, big sister had gone she followed Leia to do exactly what she did. They attempted to fix their hair and put on lots of jewelry then all the sudden Leia said she was ready to do something else. Ivy must not have been ready since she would have nothing with taking off her dress up clothes. At any rate, to keep both girls happy everyone headed downstairs dressed up through for dinner and outside playtime with the neighbors. Even at bed time, Ivy got upset having to take her princess gear off. Love our girly-girls!\u00a0<\/p>\n
