One of Chris and Lisa’s first few dates was to John and Carol’s annual crawfish boil. It is always a great time with lots to eat! John and his step dad, Lance do an amazing job cooking the main course. Carol always does and amazing job decorating and sends fun party goodies home for Leia (and Ivy this year). This year is the first year Leia has not came with us since she arrived; instead she spent the night at Mimi and Papa’s while Ivy hung out with mommy and daddy since she is still on mommy’s milk. Leia had a blast at Mimi and Papa’s (even told mommy she was not ready to go home when Lisa went to pick her up – a first). Even though Leia was not there, Mrs Carol sent her home a necklace, sombrero, maracas, and yummy shrimp and crawfish (Leia LOVES seafood!). Ivy partied-hard with mommy and daddy staying out till 9:00. Really, Ivy did AWESOME since we were outside ALL DAY and she did not get a good nap the whole day either. While Ivy did not get to partake in the main course (daddy thought she was too young or it was to spicy) she enjoyed yummy\u00a0fruit\u00a0and dips with everyone, entertaining the adults, and watching the kids run around. Thank you John and Carol for a great time with friends!<\/p>\n

Towards the end there is a big clean up party where everyone helps peel the rest of the crawfish<\/p>\n

This year it took longer than normal so\u00a0several\u00a0people\u00a0toasted\u00a0to friends with a shot<\/p>\n
