The night of December 23rd Ivy worked her arms out of her swaddle the first time and managed to turn on her music in her crib. It was late at night and everyone except Ivy was sleeping. Mommy of course was the only one that heard it and nearly jumped out of my skin; I knew Leia was in her crib and Chris was sleeping next to me. Who was in the house playing music? Of course, being late at night my first thought was that there was an intruder that knocked one of the kids toys over; my\u00a0adrenaline\u00a0started pumping. However, as I jumped up and glanced over at Ivy, I noticed a glow. I approached her bed where she looked like she was trying to figure out what she had done then gave one of her big smiles as she caught my eye and looked at me for approval. When I smiled back she began to ‘sing’ with the music and ‘dance’ (throwing her arms in the air). Mommy has turned the sound down\/off since that night on her toy. I was awake for a couple hours after hearing the music; I thought the music on her toy was suppose to help put you to sleep not keep you up.<\/p>\n
