A frequent asked question since Ivy arrived is how did\/is Leia adjust to having a little sister. We are blessed; our girls seem to love each other in the special way that only sisters can do. Leia watches out for Ivy; Ivy lights up when she sees Leia! If Ivy cries Leia has always made sure mommy knows Ivy needs attention immediately. If mommy is not as quick as Leia thinks she should be then Leia goes to try to calm Ivy. I love to hear Leia tell sister she loves her, walk over to give her hugs and kisses, and\/or sing songs to Ivy unprompted. most the time when they wake up from naps the first comment from Leia is ‘where’s sissy? I want her to get in bed with me’. If Ivy is still napping, Leia runs in Ivy’s room when she wakes to climb up in her bed. It is hard to get out of the house with jsut one of them at times since Leia likes to make sure sissy is coming or staying with her. It is comical that Leia will also help pick out outfits that match (this maybe because her cousins match frequently but mommy likes them matching\/coordinating so it is perfect; I know this will not always be the case).
