<\/a><\/p>\nFriday, morning had a chill morning at home. It was super nice not to have to go anywhere and just enjoy sweet snuggles and time with the girls. Chris had a chill day at home between doing a couple phone calls for work while the Comfort ladies picked up the Rhoads girls to go to Mimi’s. The 7 of us headed to Cullman to go to a few boutiques before going back to Mimi’s for fun on the golf cart and enjoying swinging on the swings together. The boys joined us that afternoon for dinner and more sweet fellowship. It was a great day with family; treasure every day we get together. <\/p>\n
After a girls day shopping we hung out at Mimi’s by the fire-pit. Saturday morning, Chris took the girlies to horse back riding while Lisa had a few minutes to chill and walk. When they got back and cleaned up Lisa took the girls out for a momma-daughter day and gave Chris some chill time. We enjoyed lunch with Leia’s friend, Anna Claire and her mom, Amanda as well as Ivy’s friend, Olivia and her mom, Sarah. Afterwards, we headed to the nail salon to pamper our feet with pedicures. We were having such a great time Ivy invited everyone back to the house to continue our girls day with dessert and coffee at our house. It was a day full of laughs and sweet fellowship. That evening we all invited the Talley’s over for dinner and got to see all the prom pictures from Jack’s junior prom. It was a fabulous day! <\/p>\n Lunch photo op on our momma-daughter day Sunday morning we let Chris sleep in since he had to get up early to take the girls to horse back on Saturday. The ladies in the house all were up pretty early. Mimi came out and brought her pressure washer and the truck to get pine-bark for the beds and freshen up the flowers. Mimi, Lisa, Leia, and Ivy tackled the front yard and one side then Mimi and Ivy headed back to Lowe’s to get a few more bags of pine-bark while Leia and Lisa planted the flowers and vegetables we had bought. Chris joined our fun spreading the pine bark next to the driveway then Mimi headed home while we went to get cleaned up for afternoon activities. So thankful that Mimi came to help freshen up the yard! (Side note, she came back later to help finish since we ran out of supplies)<\/p>\n Leia’s girl scout troop had planned their first on only spring activity to go to the movies. It was a mother daughter movie outing. There ended up only being 6 girl scouts that made it. We spaced out in the theater so we still got to take our masks off during the show. It was nice having a one on one time with Leia. Ivy went down to the Talley’s to ride bikes with Alex then Chris took her out for a father-daughter dinner. We all arrived back home all about the same time. Ivy helped mommy water the new plants then we all got ready for bed and had a low key night getting ready for the school week ahead and enjoying sweet time together. <\/p>\n Few of the Girl Scouts The girlies had a three day weekend for a random weather day. This is the last long weekend they have this year as in five and a half weeks they will finish this school year and we will officially have a middle schooler.
