We were fortunate that it had been arranged since Leia missed\u00a0the fire truck day at school. This tour was way better than just seeing the\u00a0fire truck since the kids were able to get in the truck, watch the fireman put on all his gear,\u00a0and tour the fire station. Firemen look really different in their gear so\u00a0letting the kids see them\u00a0all dressed up\u00a0is a great idea just in case\u00a0the unthinkable\u00a0ever happens; you would not want\u00a0a child to\u00a0run and hide instead of getting out of looming danger in a terrible situation. The fireman even let the kids play with the gear. Another bonus\u00a0was that the tour was\u00a0in the\u00a02 week window when I still could\u00a0drive so\u00a0daddy got to go with\u00a0us on our play-date.<\/p>\n<div
