Lisa, Leia, Ivy, Mimi, aunt Stacy, Sara, and Katie headed to Dollywood this year on their annual girls trip. Stacy picked a great condo with a wonderful view of a river and the lazy river. The girls enjoyed the amenities at the resort tie-dying shirts, swimming, playing on the park, jumping on the air bubble, and walking in the river. <\/p>\n

 What adventure will await us as we head off on our girls trip
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nOn the way in we stopped for lunch at Apple Barn before checking into our condo
\n\"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\nEnjoyed sweet treats afterwards
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nWhile Lisa and Stacy ran to the store to grab breakfast stuff, Mimi took the girlies to the craft  (tie dyed shirt), to the pool, and playground 
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\n \"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nAfter we got back Sara and Ivy had some trouble finding the car to get something out of it. Not sure about their direction sense; they must have gotten confused that it should me in a parking lot not a field or creek … LOL
\n\"\"<\/a>  
\nWe watched the girls in the lazy river and walking in the river that evening
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a>   \"\" <\/a> 
\nSo much fun to have a air bubble on the resort
\n\"\"<\/a>    
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nWinding down for the evening 
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nMommy’s sleeping buddies for the trip
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Wednesday we went to Dollywood’s Splash Country. Ivy said that was her favorite even though she was not tall enough to do several of the rides and mommy dragged her on the tube rides we did but the family tube ride ended up being her favorite. As the park started shutting down the wave pool and toddler areas we decided to call it a day and go back to enjoy the amenities at our resort. We ended up ordering pizza in and chilling out around the condo for the evening.  <\/p>\n

\nThe first family tube ride 
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nMommy had to drag Ivy up and she was not happy about it but ended up loving it
\n\"\"
\nMommy also carried her to the double tube that she ended up requesting to go on again and again
\n\"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nThe big girls all could do body slides
\n \"\"<\/a>  
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nFun in the kid area
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"  <\/a>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> <\/a>
\nThe girls had fun in the wave pool but they shut it down not long after they got out 
\n\"\"<\/a>

\nMimi’s girls 
\n\"\"
\nAh a little relaxation in the lazy river
\n \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>    
\nWe laughed at Stacy’s multiple layers of sunscreen; go a little lighter on the sunscreen
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nBlessed to spend some time with these girlies
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nMimi and Lisa took two monkeys to the creek. their fun abruptly ended when Sara said she saw a snake
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nAunt Stacy took the littles back down to the lazy river but the girls said it was yucky (aka had leaves and sand in it) then over to the park 
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nKatie joined them  for the last 15 minutes 
\n\"\" \"\"<\/a>
\nLeia elected to chill in the room 
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Thursday, we arrived at Dollywood Theme Park when they opened and a few of us left when it closed. The weather was great <\/p>\n

Mornign sunggles
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nGreat view sipping on coffee with sister and Mimi
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nWe had a welcome visitor when we arrived at the park
\n\"\"
\nWe decided not to ride the River Rampage since we did not want to get soaked to start the day off. Instead we road Dare Devil Falls that went faster than any of the roller coasters and got us a little wet. After that the girls\/stacy decided to ride Mountian Slidewinder which had us soaked
\n \"\" <\/a>\"\" <\/a>\"\" <\/a>\"\"  <\/a>\"\"<\/a>  <\/a>\"\"
\nAfter everyone was soaked headed to River Rampage. They warned you there that you would get wet
\n\"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a> <\/a>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>   
\nThe girlies wanted to drive the cars. We better not blink or they will be in real cars 
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"
\n<\/a> <\/a>\"\"<\/a>   
\nAlways fun riding with dumbo
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nBig sisters had fun on the swings 
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nCarnival area fun
\n\"\"<\/a>  \"\"<\/a>
\nThis baby girl wanted her face painted so bad. It lasted a few hours before the rain had it messed up but it was worth it to see how excited she was to get it done 
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\" <\/a>
\nThankful we went to watch a show when the rain\/storm started
\n\"\"<\/a>  
\nWe never got to ride the train since they closed it with he weather
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nLisa walked through the rain to get kettle corn; it was the biggest bag of kettle corn we’ve ever saw
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nIt rained, thundered, and lightened for a few hours so we went out to dinner
\n\"\"<\/a>
\nLisa, Mimi, Sara, and Leia went back to the park for the fireworks, more fun on rides, and to close down the park
\n\"\" <\/a>\"\"  <\/a>\"\" <\/a>\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nThe girls last ride choice ensured we left the park soaking wet 
\n\"\"<\/a>
\n\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Friday we woke up and enjoyed the view and some sweet morning snuggles before we hit the road to try to avoid traffic. On the way home, Sara wanted to stop at her favorite pizza joint, Lupi’s in Chattanooga so we made a quick stop for lunch. Less than a hour out we were stopped on the interstate due to road work but still made good time home to see our daddy and enjoy some time with him. <\/p>\n
