<\/p>\nLove this picture of Mimi and Ivy skipping to lunch. Lisa and Mimi had spent a mother-daughter morning together then got Ivy after her school day ended for lunch and special time together. Mommy is going to miss getting to get her early and keep her out next year when she starts big girl school.

The first Saturday in February was nice outside so we went hiking. Sweet Leia and Sara wanted to be the leaders and did a great job leading the way for our afternoon of adventure. The dads stayed at Mimi’s for a little peace and quiet. Oh and yes Ivy is wearing PJs hiking too; she loves PJs and you get looks when you do it when your older so We decided to have the family over for the Super Bowl. Chris enjoyed a little game before Super Bowl but it when the game started it was time to cheer on the Falcons. Unfortunately, we despite leading all but the last few second of the game they were defeated but it was a exciting game. Love how these two love each other! They have gotten into changing earrings and looking at mommy’s jewelry. I’m sure this reminds Mimi of when Stacy and Lisa were their age … be still my heart Lisa met Leia and Katie for lunch, grabbed Ivy, then rushed back for lunch with Sara Friday, February 10th. Love getting to spend time with these girls and that they are excited to have lunch company. They liked the chicken nuggets we brought. Mimi took her grand-girls to get their toes and nails done for valentine. Sara said she was too big for the fairy chairs so opted for a big girl chair. Love the heart nail art they got and the fact the polish stayed on their toes for several days. Deedee and Grandpa came to visit us for the weekend. The girls were so excited! They enjoyed having trash popcorn with them the evening but burned all the energy from it doing gymnastic tricks. February 10th was Ivy’s 100th day of K5 at God’s House Kindergarten. They counted 100 items and 100 snack items at their party. She is getting so big! Saturday, Deedee gave the girls a sewing lesson. They made skirts to go with a shirt Deedee monogramed for them. It was fabulous! Leia lost interest after a little bit but Ivy may have done another project if given the opportunity. Mommy took the girls shopping to use one of their gift cards to Target. Ivy loved her phone she got and has been talking to Goofy, Minnie, and Micky. Leia was in a anti-picture mood so no picture of her with her new toy. Mimi knew she would not get to see the girls on Valentine so she made a special delivery to our house while we were at work\/school on Monday. When we got home the girls opted to open their Valentine surprise from Mimi right away. Valentine’s Day we all had to work or go to school and knew it was going be a busy day with gymnastics that evening. Lisa was thankful she did get to go to both girls class parties, yippee! Ivy’s party was pretty short of course they had a big week with the 100 day party, valentine party and a field trip. They had a snack\/lunch at Ivy’s party then it was over within 25 minutes. Leia’s party was a little longer with snack, games, and activities. We did not see our Mimi on Valentine but gave her big hugs the next day for the sweet treat she left in our freezers as a surprise Ivy had a field trip to McWane Science Center on Wednesday, February 15th. She has such sweet little friends in her class and “the nicest teacher at God’s House” (Ivy’s quote). We met her class there so we got a extra 30 minutes of play time. When everyone arrived we headed straight to the itty bitty kingdom. Mrs Peggy was so excited when a few of them joined in on the sound wave lesson. After a hour and half we corralled everyone to venture to different parts of the science center for the remaining hour we had there. A few of us went to lunch afterwards too. It was a fantastic day that all the kids and parents enjoyed! <\/p>\n Leia was out of school Friday so it was a mommy daughter day. Chris took Ivy to school and Leia planned her day with Lisa. They started relaxing at home and snuggling watching TV before playing some intense games of Uno. Leia asked about going to Chuck-e-Cheese so we headed there until we were hungry and decided to go to Moe’s for lunch. Leia started not feeling well there so we grabbed Ivy on the way home, shortened our fun day but by then time we got home she said she felt great and was running around with her sister. Sara and Katie ended up coming over to play for a little bit then Katie went home for dinner since Mrs Cheryl was coming over while Sara hung out with us till bedtime to have a little more fun time. <\/p>\n There were minimal pictures since Lisa was savoring the moments! We are making a effort to purposely put down electronics and spending precious moments with people and balance it with getting pictures to capture he moments to freeze them in time. Fun doing sight words and playing with daddy when he got home Saturday, we had a family lunch at Mimi’s house. The kids got to meet Al’s daughter, Jennifer and her husband Ian that they had not met. We went early for the girls to play with Jude, they hit it off and played till 7 o’clock. We failed to get a family picture though :(. Next time we are all together hopefully we will remember. <\/p>\n The next day girls found our tattoo stash and gave themselves tattoos Monday, the girls were out of school for President’s Day. Chris took off to spend the day with them since Lisa had to work. They went to McWane, Moe’s for lunch, then came home to straighten up the house a little before they met Lisa at work so Chris could head to the plant for a few days. The girls said the whole day was their favorite and the worst part was the whole family wasn’t together. Thankful they had a fun day with their awesome daddy! <\/p>\n F Daddy had to got to the plant after their fun day so the next morning mommy took the monkeys for a donut on the way to school since she missed the fun the day before Mimi found some of mommy and aunt Stacy’s cabbage patch dolls cleaning out the attic and the girls are loving them! Of course they are not all old school and still want to play with daddy’s electronics too Sweet Ivy has started reading books now. We practice in the car when we are waiting on big sister to get out of school. It is so much fun watching their little brain’s work On our way to church …. the girls picked their outfits but Leia or mommy can’t get the zipper up on her show. \nThat afternoon Leia went to a sports birthday party at Life Time Fitness. Mommy was not sure about it when we arrived since there was not many girls there but it turned out to be a blast. Leia had a great time and said she liked that mommy joined in the games too. It is so much fun seeing her laugh and enjoy life with friends too.

\nSaturday evening we went out to celebrate Valentine with our parents, sister and Mark. It was a fantastic evening!

\nWhen we got home our sweet girlies had set up a surprise party for us. Thankful for them!

\nValentine Eve we got to have a sweet girls dinner with a few of my favorite ladies. Love these women in our life and thankful for each one of them!

\nApparently on a holiday-eve the girls said they should get to sleep with mommy and daddy, it should be a tradition. We know that one day it will not be cool or a desire so of course we said okay and set them up a spot in the room. Listening to them breath as they sleep is just as sweet as it was when they were itty bitty babies.

\nChris surprised Lisa with a delicious dinner cooked when she got home that evening. He grilled steaks, lobster, shrimp, and mushrooms. So thankful he is mine! Unfortuantly we could not linger over dinner long since as soon as we were done the girls needed to get to gymnastics. Lisa dropped them off and Chris picked them up. After baths on Valentine night we enjoyed a sweet surprise Mimi left for our family when she dropped off Valentines stuff Monday. I know Valentine Day is a “Hallmark holiday” but do enjoy the special time set aside to tell people we love them. Although I think we should tell them everyday that we love them and are thankful for they are in our life.
