Leia is SIX … time is flying … so thankful she is part of our family and trying to savor every moment we have with each of our kids. She adds so much joy, love, laughter, and excitement to our little family. Each night we ask what her favorite and worst part of the day was and today she said opening presents and eating cake was her favorite but there was not anything she did not like today, it was a perfect day. She started off the day by ordering her birthday breakfast\u00a0of\u00a0Rudolph cinnamon rolls with a candle, bacon, and pancakes for Ivy (love how she wanted to make sure Ivy got what she likes too). Leia opened a big bear that morning but wanted to save the rest of the presents. Daddy took the girls to school while mommy headed to work. Since it was her birthday she got to be line leader at school, wear a special birthday hat, plus they announced her birthday over the loud speaker. Mid morning Lisa got to go help with the class’s Christmas craft time then stayed to have lunch with our birthday girl. Later that afternoon Chris, Ivy, and Lisa went up to take donuts for Leia’s class to celebrate together. That afternoon she got to FaceTime with grandpa and Deedee while opening more presents. Then Adrian, Alicia, aunt Kelly, and uncle Diego called after swim team practice to wish her a happy birthday. Mimi, Al, Sara, Katie, aunt Stacy, and uncle Mark all came over as requested for her birthday dinner she ordered. Everyone enjoyed the steak dinner, cupcakes, and playtime before it was time to call it a night and wish sweet Leia one last happy birthday until next year.<\/p>\n
